The Lindride family of anhydrides consists primarily of methyltetrahydrophthalic anhydride (MTHPA) and methylhexahydrophthalic anhydride (MHHPA). These curing agents are light colored, low viscosity liquids that are soluble in liquid epoxy resins. Mixtures of Lindrides with epoxy resins are stable for extended periods of time at ambient temperature. When promoted and heated, the mixtures are converted to highly cross-linked polymers. The benefits of curing with Lindride include:
The Lindride 2 series consists of mixtures of isomeric forms of methyltetrahydrophthalic anhydride.
The Lindride 20 series consists of a group of pre-catalyzed anhydrides based on methyl-5-norbornene-2, 3-dicarboxlic anhydride.
The Lindride 32 series consists of mixtures of isomeric forms of methyltetrahydrophthalic anhydride, specifically formulated to remain free of crystals at temperatures well below ambient.
The Lindride 40 series consists of cost effective anhydride curing agents useful for curing epoxy resins, and are based on isomeric forms of methyltetrahydrophthalic anhydride.
The Lindride 52 series consists of a group of anhydrides based on 4-methylhexahydrophthalic anhydride.
The Lindride 62 series consists of a group of anhydride blends based on methylhexahydrophthalic anhydride.
Lindau offers many pre-promoted Lindrides as stock items or can provide Lindrides as custom-designed products that meet a company's specific curing requirements. Manufactured with accelerators already included, pre-promoted Lindrides provide users with convenience and simplicity of working with a two-part system. With pre-promoted Lindrides, our customers do not have to obtain, handle, or measure promoters.

The LS Series products are low viscosity, anhydride-based curing agents. These products are pre-catalyzed to react readily with epoxy resins and have been formulated to give improved flexibility and toughness to rapidly cured parts. Other benefits include:
In addition, these products have been formulated with an additive that forms a second phase on gelation, leading to a toughened cure compared to cures of epoxy resins with standard anhydrides. These features-coupled with excellent adhesion to reinforcements such as glass and carbon fiber-make these systems excellent choices for many composite processes, including pultrusion, filament winding and resin transfer molding.

Lindoxy 190 is a general-purpose cycloaliphatic epoxy resin with a low viscosity. It has been found to be useful for potting and composite applications, which require good electrical resistance properties, good weatherability, and high glass transition temperatures.
Lindoxy 290 is a non-crystallizing, low viscosity epoxidized phenol novolac resin with an average functionality of 3. Lindoxy 290 is designed for composites that require a high glass transition temperature along with great chemical resistance.
